Advising on future career paths in computing or science

Does anyone have any resources they can signpost me towards please? Our DD knows she wants to work with computers (previously she's been saying coding for years but now she says AI is making that more a complementary skill than a main job?), her other very strong subjects that she also enjoys are physics and chemisty. She's concious of making options choices that would keep career paths open to her that she might be interested in but she's quite single minded and is keen to know more of what is out there. Does anyone know of where we could look that's suitable for early teens to give her an idea of the kind of roles that she could be working towards? Thanks for reading

There some good advice and links to other resources here: nationalcareers.service.gov.uk/careers-advice/helping-young-people-make-education-and-career-choices

Place marking. DS has applied to do a joint computing and maths degree because of our worries about AI

I don't know about resources as such, but if she's interested in physics and chemistry as well as computing, she may want to consider scientific software development. It's what I've been doing since my chemistry PhD - it's the science knowledge and questioning which is more important than the coding itself. The recent advances in AI combined with ever faster computers are causing something of an explosion in the field - there's so much more possible now.

There's maybe some fairly readable info on this year's chemistry Nobel prize which might pique her interest.
