I really hope this gets some answers because I have hit a total blank!
My 18d did Alevels last year. Did well but still struggling with maths.
She was offered a couple of uni places but was overwhelmed and needed a year to think and process.
She's worked since (waitressing) but this was short term.
Now we have come around to the time she either needs to reapply for a uni or look for some sort of apprenticeship or similar but I really have no idea where to start in helping her with what options are available.
When my son was in a similar position years ago their was an advice centre in our town but that's gone now.
Has anyone been in a similar situation that could please please advise.
If it's relevant she did really well in her child development A level and was originally maybe wanting to do something with that like pediatric nursing or some sort of social work but she would obviously need her maths and they are very different career's which adds to the confusion
If youve got this far....Thank you!
(Sorry for any typos I'm doing two things at once atm!)

What a-levels has she got? When you say struggling with her maths do you mean she didn't pass maths A-level or has she not got it at GCSE? There's lots you can do that don't require maths A-level but she probably will need 3 subjects to get into uni.

Did she pass GCSE maths, English and Science? Where I am things like social work need a passport at GCSE and A levels related to health or social care in some way.

Also what are her interests?
