Do girls still cover boys' hoodies?

When I was a teenager, getting to borrow a boy's hoodie was a high point of any day. I asked my 14yo DS whether girls ever borrowed his hoodies and he was outraged that a girl would "steal" his clothing!

Is it still a thing?

Edit: the title should be covet.

That's real CFery. A boyfriend's hoodie is for his gf!

I know!
DD is usually pretty mild mannered but she was very cross. I sugegsted the girl was just a bit cold but apparently "she knew what she was doing"

I bet she did, the brazen hussy.

I'm fascinated by this, didn't even know it was a thing!

In our house, DH buys hoodies. Dd & I wear them.

Yes my DD was wearing a hoodie I'd never seen before. First time I asked I didn't twig whose it was (new boyfriend) and she lied. Second time I asked her she told me it was his. Doubt they've swapped she's a foot shorter than him! Probably explain how her eczema flared up too!

Why did your dd's eczema flare up? Asking as dd is struggling with eczema so wondered if anything in particular with boyfriends hoody caused it to flare up?Washing powered?

I joked about this with my boyfriend, that I didn't consider us a couple until I stole a hoodie.

The next date he brought along his favourite hoodie, sprayed with the aftershave inloved him wearing and gave it to me.

That's when I realised I loved him 🤣🤣🤣 especially as it was his favourite one!

Awww 🤗

Awww 🤗

He moans now (jokingly!) because he misses it but he knows he's lost it forever. I allow him to wear it once in a while when i see him (long distance relationship) so it smells like him but he's never getting it back.

We will never get married so that's his commitment to me 🤣🤣

Yeah, dd often wears her bf's hoodies. He can't wear hers as they would be too small!

CandiedPrincess · 10/12/2024 09:07

My 18 year old lives in her boyfriends hoodies.

Yes washing powder. We can only use Surcare. Stayed in a hotel at the weekend and she had to take a blanket so not in contact with their sheets!

DH has given me one of his t-shirts to sleep in. It will be rotated so it keeps smelling of him. He thinks it's bizarre but adorable.

Ds 15 gave his gf his favourite hoodie and he wears a hair bobble of hers on his wrist 🤣 The hair bobble was totally new to me but all the boys do it here.

I found a very nice, very big designer hoodie in my daughter's wardrobe that it appears belonged to a long gone boyfriend. It's still there. She left home 9 years ago.
