DD refusing to go to classes

She’s got dyslexia and dyspraxia but is in S4 (15 yrs old) will have exams in May and is currently citing “anxiety” as a reason for not attending certain classes and asking to come home. She’s got lots of friends and is always out. School are giving her LIAM (low intensity anxiety management) sessions and she has been referred to school counsellor. She winds up in tears telling me she can’t go to x class but she can’t tell me why.. what do I do?

Teens generally don’t love school - I know I didn’t but we just had to suck it up and get on with it 🤷‍♀️ I’ve offered her a maths tutor and an English tutor but she’s refused both saying she’s not doing extra work. I just don’t want her coming out of school with little to no qualifications - is that so unreasonable? It’s really getting me down. We’re only in week 3 of this term..

My DD2 has dyslexia and dyspraxia.
She coped OK in lower secondary, but found GCSE work increasingly hard and then covid hit. She ended missing all y11 with anxiety and depression, and 4 years later is still recovering.
With DD what looked sometimes like 'won't' was really can't/ overwhelmed.

I guess I am saying really try to get to the bottom of this. Which subjects does she try to avoid? Are they harder? Are the teachers less tolerant?

What support does she get at school?
Are exam concessions organised?
Does she struggle with executive function, note taking, writing speed, organisation, handwriting?
