Yes. Into my flat. He moved out within 6 months. I moved to work not with him. I was with a friend as well. Would you like to know how much my electricity bill was?

I was not making the op feel bad. I was asking what she was asking. And told her I'd moved out.

How very sad you are!

Your response is very very weird.

She's 18, it will be light at 5am and the tubes will be running, Uber any time in London. Can you pinpoint what your fear is?

I'd say that the biggest risk would be overdoing it on the booze plus drugs if she's not used to it, or buying dodgy pills inside the venue. If they're taking them in with them (you're not staying up til 5am in MOS on a Red Bull, trust me) then a reagent kit is a good idea. Make sure that she's with friends she trusts and that will keep an eye on each other.

I moved out at 18 too @neroversuscosta, I'll save you the stalking, it was on my own, I had my own job, I did it because my mum was emotionally abusive. Not everyone gets a soft start in life.

Funnily enough it was in South London, where I also used to go clubbing at all hours from age 14 and I was absolutely fine, have wonderful memories of rolling around finding a fry up with friends. OP, you can offer a lift if you want to be kind, but I think your DD will just then have in the back of her mind that she needs to keep you updated. Let her know she can call you if she needs you and leave it at that.

I was doing this - with nobody outside waiting for us - from the start of sixth form onwards - that was at 16. No mobile phones either - we got night buses or the first tube.
