Ticker insurance..dodgy?

Dh got our dd17 insurance through Ticker. It uses a black box to track speed limits etc.
After her being in the Gold section of the scoring system for months she got a text saying that they were cancelling her insurance due to dangerous driving.
She went to Dh in floods of tears saying she definitely hasn't been speeding.
Dh got onto ticker who after some vague responses said that they weren't cancelling her policy but it was just a warning (not what they said to dd)
Anyway he asked for details of the alleged speeding and they've said a country lane nearby. They claim she was doing thirty miles over the speed limit in the dark on an unlit, windy, country road.
Dd is a really careful driver. Both Dh and I have been driven by her and driven behind her (a couple of times when she didn't know, purely by coincidence.) she swears blind she didn't do it and I believe her. She's waiting to see if her car shows up on her boyfriend's ring doorbell at the time of the alleged speeding because she can't remember what time they got back. They'd been to the cinema.
I've looked into this Ticker a bit more and it seems most of their 5 star reviews are made up and they delete bad reviews. More than one person says that their black box recorded wrong, several say that their children were either not driving at the time of their issue or were doing the correct speed but ticker had the speed limit for that area wrong.
Dh has given her a dash cam to keep on when she's driving. Has anyone else had issues with ticker or similar?
I know some will say that she's a kid and she's probably done it but she's not that way out. She's a rule follower and knows that the black box is recording.

Hi, yes my son has had the same today. Said he was going 37 in a 20. Outside his school. There are speed bumps (he only had a little 107 he would have done damage going over speed bumps at that speed) and he was turning into school so no way he could have been doing that speed. He has also been a gold driver up until now. They are not very helpful when contacted. They have told him his insurance will be cancelled in 7 days.

Make sure that you cancel it within the 7 days instead of waiting for them to do it. That way you don’t need to declare having a cancelled insurance policy which will make his future premiums skyrocket
