So - my nearly 15 DS - has done the growing thing again and need to get him some Medium men’s hoodies . He really isn’t fussed about clothes and brands as long as they are comfy ! He liked the Champion ones I bought 18 months ago .. what brands are cool now and what really aren’t ? Thank you

Does he need them to be branded, Will Primark not do ?

Almondcakeismyfav · 21/07/2023 16:44

No - but we don’t have those shops near us so it was going to be the cut price stuff online .. he won’t care if it’s last years designs

Uniglo, good colours & quality.

QuillBill · 21/07/2023 16:48

H&M do decent plain hoodies.

Bowlplatesoupandroll · 21/07/2023 17:55

My teens (14-19) usually find something on m and m direct or sports direct.

Almondcakeismyfav · 21/07/2023 17:56

Not looked at uniglo before ! H and M is a bit thin normally .. he feels the cold .

interesting actually - I’ve always tried to get the brands right to help him try and fit in .. but at nearly 15 I probably need to ask him whether he’d just have plain

Sports direct has always been my go to to be honest

Boohoo man is popular here among teen boys, Nike for branded

JazbayGrapes · 22/07/2023 11:19

Doesn't he have his own preference?

This same thread, or a variation of it, pops up semi regularly on here. It's usually trainers, sometimes joggers, but always the same theme of 'fitting in' and 'being cool'

Maybe juts go shopping g with him, in-line or in real life and show him the options so he can choose what he likes, not what someone else likes?

Another vote for uniqlo. There shops are few and far between but worth a visit if you can find one.

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 22/07/2023 11:30

DS is 14 and he like Boohoo Man best. He’s only really bothered about branded trainers ie Nike Airforce Ones and Jordan’s. Oh and the obligatory Nike white sports socks.

Try holister

Some have a small tag by the pocket and they are soft and warm

Almondcakeismyfav · 24/07/2023 16:28

Thanks all - some good suggestions . He genuinely doesn’t care - would literally wear the same pair of joggers ( decathlon ones they don’t make anymore) and plain t shirts all the time .. the hoodies are only an issue as they are getting too tight on his shoulders
