Do you let your teens dye their hair?

Just wondering if I'm being too strict on this one

15yo wants to dye her brown hair red. I'm not keen.

I see Harper Beckham has had her hair highlighted. I think she's about 13. Looks v nice actually.

Have you experience yourself of dying hair? If not I would suggest going a shade lighter than she wants. Vaseline on skin near hair, cover clothing and slow and steady with a dye brush.

Yes, Dd1 has been light pink, purple, tangerine, red, and now shocking pink.
Dd2 has been pastel pink, copper, purple, vampires kiss, hot hot pink and is currently a flame effect of electric banana and psychedelic sunset.
I have been blonde highlights, red but now stick to various shades of purple, it's just "me".

Yes so long as ok with school. My son dyed his hair at primary school in the summer hols and then at about 13 had highlights and again now at 17. If he had wanted to dye it a colour that would have been fine by me. My hair had been all colours over the years.
