What's good starter make-up for teenage girls?

My DD has started experimenting - with my make up! So to put a stop to that I'm thinking of getting her sorted for the basics for Christmas. I'm looking for a brand that's good for young sensitive skin (she's 12). But if it can also be something a young teen would like so i don't waste money! All ideas / advice welcome!

Is Hard Candy still around, I loved that as a student. Still have 2 eyeshadow palettes and the jelly rings.

Another vote for revaluation. Cheap enough but good quality.

Revolution not revaluation. You can tell my autocorrect is used to talking about houses and mortgages lately 😂

Dd loves glossier. I don’t love their prices but they are good products.

The Ordinary do a wonderful range of cult and very cheap skincare as well as a small range of foundation which I can highly recommend.

Another glossier vote. Their makeup is quite natural as well (think subtle mascara etc) so it won’t look too obvious and overdone on young skin.
