First independent holiday abroad

For a bit of background, ds turned 18 a couple of months back. Most of his friends/school year are still 17 and they havent started going to pubs and clubs yet as quite loyal to each other and dont want to leave anyone behind. Their social life still revolves around going to parties at houses and having a good few drinks, they get drunk but not excessively. So they dont know yet if they will enjoy the club scene etc as they havent tried it, we are in a town and they do enjoy going to into Glasgow to a venue that allows over 16s in to watch live acts and they drink there (they have a friend with a band who plays) and getting the last bus/share a taxi home. They are still quite young /immature but I know this will all change as they leave school this year, all turn 18, go to work /uni and start socialising as adults.

A group of 6 have decided they want to start saving (most have PT jobs/heading to uni) and book a holiday abroad next summer and ds is asking for ideas where to go. The night life will obviously be important, it would be good if they had a choice between the excessive drinking/foam party club scene and something slightly lower key if the clubbing turns out isnt their thing. They are all mostly paying for themselves so cost will be a factor too.

Any recommendations where your teens have gone in the past - locations/accomodation that I can give him as ideas ?

Mine soon to be 19 year Ds is currently heading back from 5 nights in Zante.
10 of them went and they opted for All inclusive but believe they still went out late at night. Having all drinks and meals included helped their budget so it was just a few extra drinks when they went 'down the strip'🙈
They felt 5 nights was probably would be enough (for their liver I would think), it cost £500 and they used a travel agent as they were a large party. I asked for him just to message when he arrived and when on his way home, as I didn't want to message him when he was away then panic if I didn't hear.
Apparently they had had a great time!

My daughter and a few friends opted for Santa Ponsa. It's not far from Magaluf, but far enough away from the bustle and nonsense. A few of her friends stayed in Magaluf itself and she met up with them for clubs etc. She didn't go all inclusive because she wanted to try different places for dinner. Breakfast was included so she pretty much scoffed that without a need for lunch. That was her though, but all inclusive options are now reduced to 6 drinks a day in the Spanish Islands.
