Revising help/support

Those parents who have already been through the GCSE revision - how is best to support the child?

Any tips or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

We have issues with focus and a bit of a "know it all" but some mock results were a little surprising and now need to get their head down and push through.

Easy for me to say, so any advice would be useful!!

@savethepennies I'm going through this with dd2 her first set of exams were very poor she can repeat in June but she can not study without me telling her to do it.
She really wants to do Alevels but this is looking very unlikely so I tell her you have to do the study for yourself it's not for me or the teacher, it's for yourself.
Dd1 just scrapped into Alevel but has really turned it around and has 5 conditional offers for Uni

There are various threads on the Secondary education board (you might need to go back a few pages, or search as they are full of choosing between private schools right now).

revision timetable
make it active not passive
each session has a clear aim of what will be achieved
get her to self test or you test
when have learned a topic try some practice questions
