Orthodontist has suggested some soft food for a couple of days next week after the braces have been fitted but my mind is a blank. The only thing I've thought of so far is homemade milkshake.

Soups, pasta, mash potatoes. That type of thing

I used to live on Asda frozen ready meals, chicken curry and rice, chilli and rice, spag Bol.

Generally the pain only lasted a few days. That first night though Sad if I could have got hold of a pair of pliers I’d have taken them off myself!

I was a week away from my 21st when I had them put on.

That's a good idea thanks. The rest of us love good food but DD would happily live off Macdonald if she could. Ready meals sound tight up her street 🙄Smile

Spag bol. Chilli, yoghurt, icecream, soup, stews

Cottage pie
Carbonara

Generally my rule was if you can eat it with a teaspoon it’s probably suitable Grin

DH knows when the teaspoon comes out I need comfort food!

My son had thick milkshakes for packed lunch, soggy breakfast cereal for breakfast and supper and tomato soup for tea.
That was only for about 3 days, after that we moved onto cottage pie and spag bol for tea.
He was back to sandwiches for lunch after the first week.
