Bright but depressed 17 year old throwing life away...

Help please! I have a 17 year-old daughter and lockdown has worsened her mental state.
She won an academic scholarship to a top boarding school but due to her depression, the school won’t let her board at present and she is currently home learning. Daughter can’t handle the uncertainty of not knowing whether she can go back to board. She is seeing CAMHS but only has sporadic sessions. She won’t leave the house and endlessly talks of killing herself if school doesn’t take her back.
I feel the school have just washed their hands of her. They won’t give a timeline of whether she can go back or not.
I’m a single parent, work full time and am exhausted. ☹️

Oh gosh that's an awful situation for you both.

((((Hugs)))))

On a practical level, has she been prescribed any meds ? ( have they had time to kick in?) If you have notified the authorities about the constant threat of suicidal intent I'm amazed they haven't stepped in with more assistance .
Is she nearly 18 ? And does the support team change when she reaches that age ?
In your shoes I would be wanting a have a formal meeting with the person who makes the decisions about what help can be available - be it GP or team leader mental health team etc .
I'd explain the current situation clearly and follow it up with a detailed email so that it's all documented exactly the situation going on right now and the effect if is now having on you too. Quality of life for you both needs to improve.
