Teen worrying about weight

My step daughter is 13 (14 next month). Ive noticed that she is currently tracking her calories and weight.
She is 5foot5 and is 11.5 stone currently, which does put her at 'obese' BMI for her age (98th percentile) according to NHS website.
I wouldn't say though that she's overweight, and was surprised that the scale was over 11 stone.

She eats well when she's at our house, although I have noticed that she struggles to stop eating when food isn't portioned (buffets, shared takeaways etc), and snacks a lot on chocolate and crisps (healthy fruit/yogurts are available), but I think this is normal for teens?

She exercises way more than I ever did (3/4 times a week) due to being involved in sports.

I'm both concerned about her being classed as obese due to health reasons, but also very concerned about her weight/calorie tracking at just 13.

What would you do?

Calorie tracking is the most sensible way to lose weight as long as she isn't restricting too much. Do you know how many calories she's eating?

According to her calorie tracking app, about 1800 a day, but I think when she's at our house she eats more around 2000 a day.
I don't want to encourage her to think about calories really as I worry about eating disorders
