Invisible sun cream

DS (14) won't wear suncream without a huge battle. Says his friends ask him why he looks so greasy. He burns very easily due to pale skin. It's 33C here today and we had a massive row about this as he is going out with friends. Can anyone recommend a suncream that is undetectable? He has been sunburnt in the past and it wasn't pleasant. This is one battle I feel as a parent I do have to pick.

Ultrasun?

I use the one I linked above, doesn’t leave skin greasy and smells nice. It does come on different SPF too, I’ve seen it in Tesco as well Smile

We all use ultra sun once a day and that doesn't look greasy or oily on the skin.
We've used it for years and never had any issues with burning etc even in powerful Florida and Caribbean suns.

You can even get tinted versions for the face.

Nivea kids. I even use it on my face

Ultra sun or p20 we’ve used both.

I feel your pain. Mine has to use it, even in winter due to an immune condition and it is a battle every day still! I bought ASDA protect 50 cooling clear sun mist it has 5 UVA for face and for body - ASDA protect clear sun spray which is quick drying UVA 5. It does say reapply the sunscreen, which I know he wouldn't but still seems to do the trick. If he looks particularly greasy, I dust v lightly with translucent power on top just to take the shine off!

Frezyderm - there is a body one called second skin new velvet technology - after battles with my young DDs this is one they are happy to wear - they say it’s not like suncream. It isn’t cheap but it is worth it to us.

I use korean suncream. I hate the greasy sticky stuff we have here. I got Missha from amazon
