Help with presents for 17 year old

Just want to ask the advice of some parents with current teenagers

My 17 year old nephew is staying with us over Xmas - I normally just give him money which is what he has asked for again. Happy to do this but our children 4 and 10 will be opening lots of presents. Would a 17 year mind this?

We thought of getting him some stocking fillers to open but beyond toiletries and socks! we are a bit short of ideas. I normally give him £150 so do not want to reduce this for silly presents as he is anticipating this but do not want to spend too much.

Any ideas?

He does not live with his parents and I only have limited contact with them.

I would go with socks and books wrapped to open something. I have a 17 year old who seems really mature but Christmas brings out the child in them!

I would like ideas too. My nephew's birthday is just before Christmas and I don't feel I can give him money for both! What books are good, do you think?

Get him a stocking. In it, have wrapped up:

Lynx shower gel and body spray
Novelty socks (Primark)
A Nando's or Costa gift card
£150 in an envelope
Chocolate coins
Chocolate orange

DS is nearly 17.
Mostly he wants money as he is saving to buy a VR headset.

His surprises will be the book 'What If?'.
(He like science) and an expansion for Exploding Kittens. It's very popular with his group at school, they play in free periods.

Also lots of snacks as he thinks what we have on offer on daily basis is boring: crackers, pistachios, interesting spreads for toast...

DS would find it totally normal that younger kids into toys have lots more packages to open.

Agree they accept younger children having gifts, mine wanted £ but we always had a jokey unexpected gift in there to unwrap on xmas day.
