a while back my son aid he was stoppng at a friends.
as i used to say that when i was dating my dh i always check that the kids are where they say they are...becuase they are teenagers
anyway, knocked on the door and there was no-one home.
went back at midnight - no one home.
went round to the house in the am, the mother pretended they had all been home. i told her she was lying and asked where my son was - he was a few doors down with some other boys and ....... ...girls.
this was quite a few months ago.
now its the 6 week hols - he wants to sleep round this friends.
since this episode i have always told him no, that he has shit it with me now and broen the trust.
so he is givin me some speach abut earnign trust back. blah de fuckin blah.
so i feel like a shit.... he knows i will check - so he will be where he says he willbe or i'll break his bastard legs.
so.....should i give him a chance to earn his trust back? he doesn't sleep at other boys houses often ...and in general for a 14 yo he's really good.
