Right, dilemma. 7 12yr old girls at my house from 3.30pm until tomorrow. Once they've screamed a lot, been disgustingly rude about various teachers and eaten the home made pizzas they're doing, what then? That's about 1 hour gone, what can they do? A few of them are , how shall I put it, advanced and will be trying to flirt with older brothers (who are planning to escape the house). I'm not taking them out, in case I lose one, or get arrested for noise levels of screaming (you know how teens do when they see a boy or someone they know?!). Any ideas please, cheap of course!

Homemade cosmetics?

Making Jewellry?

Wearing make up (yours probably)

Dressing up in all your/dd clothes to make going out outfits?

brave (insane) woman

Thanks for the ideas. However, they're 12 going on 17 and tbh two of them are a bit ermm,, slappery(if that's a word) Nice girls but very screamy and two ofthem I don't really like very much (can you tell|?) They will have no hesitation in wanting 18 cert DVDs and telling me in a whiney voice that tthey're bored.OMG what have I done, I thought it would be cheaper (flat broke) than pics and popcorn!![hmmm]

My friend does jewellery parties and painting things but when I asked DD if she would like this, she just gace me that "are you insane" look so I didn't ask again!

How about a cheesy DVD - (grease??) and the popcorn anyway

Close the curtains & turn the lights out

Voila a cinema

Grease is so cheesy no-one can complain about it

They tend to go into little cliques as well, so one is left out, ususally the sensible one!! Oh, how I'm looking forward to 3.30!!

Make sure you have a nice bottle of wine ready (for yourself!) and a decent pair of earplugs. x

How about asking them to bring fav photos, and get them to make a scrap book, you can pick them up for a 1.00, tehy can decorate them with things cut from mags, tell them to leave acouple of pages for each other to write messages

I have a 12 yesr old DD!!!! they love make up, hair, and clothes and generally love to give each other makeovers and then parade the results. It can go on for hours and seems to keep them pretty happy. Good luck

How is it going?

What about homemade face packs like avacados etc.

Face scrub with oats or porridge oats?

Good luck I have a 12 year old boy I think they are easier

They love the Ice hockey table and PS2 and eye toy etc.
