Hello everyone!
My daughter isn’t quite a teen yet but her attitude says differently and she’s literally driving me insane!
Hormones are raging and her moods fluctuate between moody arse and extreme moody arse!
She’s lazy & her don’t care attitude absolutely stinks! Some days I cry as I feel I’ve created this, but when I pause i don’t feel I have! She isn’t anything like me and her self entitled attitude needs correcting! Punishments like no phone, computer etc don’t work!
She literally acts like a spoilt brat too, and my rant here is brought on by us sitting together and she noticed I had bought a new hair brush and kicked off I hadn’t bought her one! I’m not even sure where she gets this from!
Any advice? From a balding mother! Thank you Confused

You're not alone! It's so hard! My DD was just horrible when she was 11-12 but her hormones seem to have settled a little.

Shes now 14 and there are glimmers of a lovely young lady trying to shine through the bad moods and laziness.

Best thing is to pick your battles and try your hardest not to bite or get in to petty arguments. Honestly at times my DD could start an argument in an empty room....

Hang in there OP. ThanksCake

I have a15 year old son who has been causing me a lot of stress.
Firstly he was excluded from school for fighting and now has to attend a centre which he doesn’t bother to attend most days .
He has been abusive both verbally and physically and damaging house items to the point I had to call the police on him twice .
I had him assessed and he was said to had ADD
It’s a constance battle with almost days to get him to do anything .
I worry for his future and mine if he continues to carry on like this .
Has anyone gone through this with their children ?
I could really do with some advice and support.
Geraldine
