Poor fella Tbh I don't think he was in love with her adn told him that yesterday but he had only been with her for 6 weeks and he is now heartbroken and humiliated.
He nearly gave up the opportunity to go and work in the Channel Islands for the summer because he wanted to be with her. This was why I told him that he wasn't in love yesterday. Luckily he diddn't ditch the job. Poor fellow but lucky escape I suppose.

She did have peircings in her lips and a VERY irritating accent so I won't be missing her too much

And I WON'T be welcoming her back her if he is stupid enough to see her again.

Unfortunately Honoria he is repeating his lower sixth(or whatever that is called now) as he totally messed up last year. The school actually asked him to leave(because they diddn't want him messing up their league tables) he failed everything. He did so badly because his mum has rejectd him and he just couldn't cope
So his dad told the school that he was dyslexic and that they should have spotted it so they gave him another chance. He was doing really well, straight A's(obviously not dyslexic)

So basically my worry is that now he is going to either fail or just scrape through, but just scraping through is probably not enough for them to keep him in iyswim. It is a grim situation and very frustrating as he just doesn't have any emotional maturity(then who did when they were 18)

Wow. Calling a teenage girl a bitch and a slag is a bit strong.

Well, she kinda is though.... I mean they've only been going out 6 weeks and she couldn't even restrain herself from sleeping with other boys for that long. And to do it to her boyfriend just before his A levels, well... she's ticked all the boxes to be called those names imho.

Hopefully she'll learn not to act that way as she grows up, and then people won't feel justified in calling her those names.

I feel for you son (that first broken heart is a bastard) and I realise of course your interests are with him - but she's 18. EIGHTEEN. FFS, if you can't act irresponsibly at 18, when can you? She'll learn her lessons I'm sure - about being hurt, hurting people....and the wrath of the MIL!
