Has anyone any great ideas for dd 15th birthday.? She wants around 15 guests including 2 boys (aged 16 ). We don't mind spending @£100.00 but this isn't enough for a meal in a restaurant ( NO, they don't want macdonalds ! ) and I don't really want them at home . would like to spend less really , she may have to reduce guests but this will cause problems !

Howabout a cheap pasta joint - one which charges around £5-£6 for a plate of pasta (though you have to be watchful for the ones who decide the'd like to try languostine linguine at £16 a plate - i don't think so!!)- then back to yours for a birthday cake.

how about one of the eat all you can chains - wokmania or No 1 Chinese buffet or Jumbos for example. during the day they can be as little as £5 per head, and then with a refillable soft drink each should be £6.50 or so per head?

Thanks folks , in the end we contributed £100 to pizza express 20 guests who had to pay for rest them selves which seems to be the in thing , This however is getting too expensive when invited back to 20 part or most, in some cases 'self paying ' She did get some good presies though ! And Pizza express gave our cake + 15 candles to a 5 year old . husband was v cross so we were given a £50 reduction !!!
