What age did you/your DD start using tampons?

DD who is nearly 14 uses towels and she has been lucky do far in that we don't go swimming that often and she hasn't had to miss out because of her period. I can't remember how old I was when I changed to tampons but I know I felt a lot more confident. A mooncup would be even better but that may be a step too far at this stage!

I never used pads, straight to tampons from the start, but I was15.

DD was 14 after wearing pads, but switched to Ts after having to do PE in her knickers once when she didn't have her PE kit and was embarrassed by the bulge the pad made.

i used tampons from my first period.

I think i was about 15 maybe, I hated pads. Now I'm older, I literally can not stand them at all.
When I had to use them after I had my baby I hated it.
