What are the "cool" sportswear brands these days??

As an aside to another thread I have running in Style & Beauty regarding teenage fashion, can anyone advise what are considered cool brands for sporty teenage girls? Girls that basically live in jodhpurs/jeggings and hoodies, but they have to be the "right" hoodies Grin. DD1 is particularly into sport (and lounging around in equal measure) so where can I find clothes she will like and wear?

I have 2 dds age 12 and 16 who live in Nike and Addias , but only from JD Sports as apparently it is the only shop to buy from. It's bloody expensive though at £25 a top/ leggings and £50 a hoodie.

GuinefortGrey · 05/03/2017 11:59

Ah! Yes, that is the vibe I was getting from my DDs - one of them turned her nose up at a new top from Sports Direct even though, to me it was the "right" brand. Obviously not the right shop though Grin.

Beyonce has a line at TopShop.

WhisperedLoudest · 05/03/2017 12:14

Adidas seems to be the favourite where we are and Nike running style trainers (as opposed to Adidas for Stan Smiths)

AlexanderHamilton · 05/03/2017 12:18

Dd (15) & DS(12) both like Nike but in dd's case it's because she finds their sportswear very durable & supportive for actually training in rather than a fashion thing. DS likes it because his favourite team use NIKE for their kit but I've found that for other sports he does Nike's dri-fit or whatever it's called is more comfortable to wear.

We have a Nike outlet shop near to us which is very good but they are both happy with sports direct stuff.

Pink from the Victoria Secret range has all the work out clothes and lounge wear a girl could want. Massively popular now just get anything American and they'll die over it. 😂

MrsDoylesTeabags · 05/03/2017 21:04

Just asked DS 16 who is into fashwaun
he says Ivy Park which is Beyonce's label at Top Shop

Turquoisetamborine · 05/03/2017 22:19

My 9yr old loves Hype clothing, again from JD Sports and pricey.

Mrskeats · 05/03/2017 22:23

My oldest likes Gymshark and Victoria's Secret stuff

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 05/03/2017 22:24

Adidas, Nike and Ellesse according to DS16.

Alfiemoon1 · 07/03/2017 09:35

Adidas but for girls it has to be originals according to dd Nike and ellesee. Pink undies from Victoria secret all of which are ridiculously expensive lol

Kikikaakaa · 10/03/2017 14:06

Hype
Adidas
Nike
Pink by Victoria secret
Hollister

Davros · 10/03/2017 14:47

Lululemon. I know, I'd never heard of it until this Xmas. It's expensive!

Kenworthington · 10/03/2017 14:55

Ivy park
Nike - esp Nike pro leggings
Adidas- must be adidas originals (different logo)
Ellesse
Again all from JD or urban outfitters

Kenworthington · 10/03/2017 14:56

Teen dd and ds say absolutely no to hype clothing as its for 'little kids' apparently. But the rucksacks are ok. Hmm

Kikikaakaa · 10/03/2017 14:59

Oh yes nothing except adidas originals I remember

Kikikaakaa · 10/03/2017 15:00

DD1 has a hype jumper she absolutely adores.
The bags are bloody awesome!

sijjy · 10/03/2017 15:05
