I've been assaulted by my dds

For the last month my dd, aged 15 and 12, have been completely out of control. They've been running away most evenings and have become increasingly aggressive, kicking and hitting me. They have also been involved in anti social behaviour.
Tonight we had a meal out with my mom. While I was seeing her safely into her house - she's 83 - they ran off again. Found them and to cut a long story very short, took my oldest by the wrist to get her back into the car. The youngest pushed me over - I'm a big woman so she must have caught me off balance - and the oldest then kicked me couple of times as I lay on the floor.
I called the police who brought them home and gave them a good telling off but wouldn't arrest them. Police are returning to deal with them later in the week as they are now off duty for a few days.
I've got cuts and bruises and my neck and back are sore.
We already go to Camhs, and have social services involved and have had numerous contact with the police over the last month.
What do I do? What the hell do I do? They are adopted - have had them seven years - but I'm posting here rather than in adoption as that mainly seems to be about introductions, letterbox contact etc.
I've been reading another thread tonight where a parent has come under fire for saying she dislikes her teenage dd. I love my two but I'm beginning to hate them too. I don't know if we have a future but we can't carry on like this.

Have you tried working with post adoption support PAC or barnardos as they both have registered adoption support counsellors who are trained in this type of work. Anyone who hasn't worked extensively with adoption won't have a clue what's going on.

Can't help with the emergency side but you really need at least weekly therapy for each member of the family. I'm in the south east so can recommend some agencies if your in that area PM me.

Thanks daisy. Youngest dd goes to camhs three times a week, and oldest dd and I go once a week. Oldest did go three times a week until a few months ago but it was scaled back due to it being her gcse year.
We haven't had any contact with PAC or barnardos. I will look into what they might be able to provide.
The dd were interviewed by the police re the assault on me, and the case has been passed on to the youth offending team to deal with.
Half term hasn't been too bad due to a couple of pre organised trips away for the dd, which has given me some respite. I have a feeling Monday will be difficult though with it being Halloween, which they seem wildly excited about.
We have a child protection conference this week, due to the risk they're putting themselves at, so will see what comes of that...

Hope Halloween went OK for you and keep looking for the help you need. Has CAMHS talked to you about a personality disorder assessment. It may be worth bringing it up if they haven't. The girls might then be able to do MBT which is the gold standard support therapy for PD. I'm imagining you are receiving systemic therapy which may help but may not be enough for their level of disorganised attachment.

Don't give up looking for the support but put some distance between yourself and their affect. It sounds as if you are trying so hard but just don't have the training or understanding to deal with the complexity of the issues you are facing now. I'm wondering if you might get more support on the post adoption websites which deal with others with similar issues rather than on the adoption and teenage threads here.

Halloween was ok in the end because I took them to an organised activity.
And today I went to a safeguarding meeting at which it was decided to give them each child at risk status rather than subject to a child protection plan. Unfortunately lots of talk and little action though...
And they ran off from school at the end of classes and are still not home so have reported to police.
I have mentioned personality disorder to camhs and have asked if they can see a psychiatrist. Cahms seems set on continuing with psychotherapy though, seeing the dd separately, whereas I would prefer us to receive family therapy. Will look more into PD and MBT, thanks, daisy.
I used to get a lot from the Adoption UK message board but then they made drastic changes to them a couple of years ago and a lot of adopters stopped using them, including me. I will go and have a look to see if they've improved...
