18 yo boy, with whom I'm close but we're not related. Has been smoking weed for years (yes, I judged!) but has just started acting really strangely.

He's louder and more angry than ever, skipping work (he'll be fired soon, if he hasn't been already), and just a bit odd.

Might this be a new drug he's got into? I'm hugely out of the loop. He reminds me a bit of people I knew years ago who got into coke, but I'm not sure that's it.

The other thought I've had is that all those years of smoking weed have fucked up his mental health.

Any thoughts please? We're desperately worried about him.

I'm convinced the rising cost of coke is why so many kids are using ket instead. It's a fucking horrible drug!

Crikey, they are getting bumped!

Violinsandbrass · 08/10/2016 13:58

Smile suppose it depends on the area?! It works in tiers here, £120 being the lowest tier quality wise. I've heard of it going up to £200 for a full gram but best quality, in other words not teething powder!!

DD is at uni and says MDMA is rife as is ket, more bots than girls appear to be users but her room mate from London has used coke several times, scary. House of ten and five are regular recreational users.

Wow, I'd never have told my parents about flatmates and acquaintances using drugs - would have blown their innocent minds!

MDMA is always rife but doubt it'd make someone cuntish.

Got to agree with Natsku. I'm not sure the behaviour change sounds like MDMA...

I actually think overuse of weed or skunk can bring about MH issues and of course heroin and crack brings about quite major behaviour issues - but I don't know many people who've been in the latter category so I'm speaking from out me bottom....

Legal highs are a huge problem around here. I'd assume that as there are so many different concoctions.
