Dp and I have just got rid of Sky, the reason being we never got to watch TV.
Ds(13) abd Dss(16) would position themselves one each to a sofa(there are only 2 in the room), and watch constant drivel ALL day. Includes, Hollyoaks, Friends, Southpark, Futurama, Top Gear, Malcolm in the Middle, all of which are endlessly repeated.
Got so sick of being subject to constant crap, that we got rid of it. Of course everyone is meant to "share", but as soon as you leave the room for a cuppa, crap immediately back on, AND enless sighing and huffing, when we were trying to watch something.
Also Tv on ALL at top volume day like some life force. I thought teenagers were meant to skulk in their rooms all day. Well not in this house....can't even stand to hear the theme tunes now. Are they all like this?
