I am seriously considering taking my dd out of school, she's nearly fifteen and the subject of a fast track to prosecution arrangement. This last thing has precipitated massive rows, and her threatening not to attend school which will eventually mean a fine or jail for me.I have an awful feeling that we're going to end up in the hands of Social Services and all that that can lead to.
She's not happy at school, but is more than capable of the work, she has issues with one particular teacher who she(and several of her friends)feel is overstepping the parent/pupil boundaries ielots of personal jokes!from him,but a telling off or detention if one of the girls answers back in the same vein.

Basically she's keen to learn but finds the lack of discipline in classes annoying to say the least. Her school has always had a bit of a reputation, but just recently this has been getting worse, the latest problem was a 'riot' at the local rail station between the girls and ticket inspectors, resulting 20 or so police being called to arrest the most abusive, this made the national papers.

Have you or any other parents complained to the Head/Governors/LEA about this teacher? If he's causing trouble he needs sorting out.

Can't help with the home edding stuff though, sorry, boudicca.
