It's a long story but my son has had behaviour problems since the age of three, camhs have been nothing but useless. We are now without any service to help us. My son is 13 and terribly rude, disrespectful and downright vile. I'm trying to keep this short, there's so much to his bad behaviour and I don't want to be judged, I'm a peace loving person, we are poles apart personality wise.
Anyway his behaviour is a disgrace and I'm now 16 weeks pregnant? He shouts, screams and swears at me all day, is never in a pleasant mood, and is getting worse. I'm afraid he will hurt me soon.
Advice please, I don't know where to go for help ?

Have a talk with the school to ask how his behaviour is, and how it is managed.

Have a talk to GP too.

poor you, sounds awful. Was he ever diagnosed/assessed officially?

From the age on about one he was troublesome, then from age three got worse and unusual. He was referred to camhs and there we stayed, on and off for years until last year they finally signed him off. They were looking for ASD and thought he might have aspergers. At age 7 I was told he had it but on further further test/ meetings they decided he didn't have ASD, or aspergers.
I mentioned ADHD so they sent off a few forms to his school to fill out, all they did was put a tick in a box and said he was doing well as he's quite bright academically. No help to me as his behaviour is different at home. They took no notice of what I wAs saying and every notice of the school saying he was doing well there. It's been a long frustrating road with camhs, and upsetting. I've finally given up but now I'm pregnant worry for myself and my unborn child.
Think I'll phone his school and ask but no doubt it'll be the same.

I am sorry, that sounds desparate.

I am no expert at all, wonder if it might help if you called social services?

You need help with this, somehow
