Mum Confused what else could you put?

Chottie · 15/02/2014 05:16

An 'M' surrounded by kisses and a smiley too.

Both my DCs are in their 30s - but I always like to leave an upbeat note for them. No complaints from either DS or DD. If it is a welcome back note when they have been away, I also leave a homemade cake next to the note.

OP I've always done this, since they were old enough to be able to read, so all through the teenage years too.

Oh always get soppy with notes, texts and emails, top embarrassment brownie points for that. Mummy, Mumma, Love you and lots of kisses

my dcs both call me a variation of my name not mum, I didnt particularly like it which is why they did it !!!

So I end notes and texts with that name as it has now stuck, and is now considered cool! Id still rather be mum tho.
