If you leave a note for yours, do you sign it " mum" or "M' or your initial?

An 'M' surrounded by kisses and a smiley too.

Both my DCs are in their 30s - but I always like to leave an upbeat note for them. No complaints from either DS or DD. If it is a welcome back note when they have been away, I also leave a homemade cake next to the note.

OP I've always done this, since they were old enough to be able to read, so all through the teenage years too.

my dcs both call me a variation of my name not mum, I didnt particularly like it which is why they did it !!!

So I end notes and texts with that name as it has now stuck, and is now considered cool! Id still rather be mum tho.
