my youngest DS is 15, he has 2 much older Dbs who do not live at home.
I am now a single mum, so i suppose I notice it more, but he spends very little time with me.
He is either out with friends or on computer. I know this is normal and good that he has so many friends but how much time do your teens spend with you? Is there any need for me to worry?

I barely see my 16 year old ds1

He comes home to literally eat, sleep and shit ..... I book family days out , give my boys 1 week notice to not arrange anything that day.. This Saturday it's the football, we are going to see a league 2 game . The last family day was in July this year :-((

I remember being a teenager I was never in

It certainly isn't anything to worry about

Good, that all sounds ok then! Same here i suppose, time with parents was to be avoided!

My DSes don't go OUT much, but I still don't see them!

DS1 (18) works a couple of evenings each week, and goes to friends' once or twice... And stays in his bedroom on his playstation the rest of the time. DS2 (13) goes to his dad's a couple of nights each week, and usually has tea with his girlfriend's family once... And stays in his room playing Minecraft or his guitar the rest of the time.

It's why I spend so much time on discussion boards like these! Grin

Most of my time spent with DS is while I am driving him somewhere or providing him with food or cash.

He comes home from school and heads to his room to study / chill, comes out for food and to kiss me goodnight and that is about it. He's got very geeky or outdoor hobbies and while I try to show interest even with his ASD he can tell I'm faking it and laughs (not unkindly) if I suggest we do something together.
