DD(14) has made a new Christmas List again?!

She keeps changing her mind, this time the list is okay but I'm put off ordering anything in case she changes her mind again. This is her list so far:
A purple dress
compact Mirror
A shower gel
Cosmetic brushes
A make up set
9 different hoodies and jumpers from new Look
2 t-shirts
A phone case
Also wondering if it is worth getting the 9 hoodies and jumpers? She has assured me she will wear them but two of them are Christmas jumpers. I am sure she will wear them to school over her uniform in the winter but it seems like a boring Christmas for her in all honesty.

I don't have girls, Fuzzpig, but my boys never wore Superdry. Maybe someone else with girls might be able to help soon.

Married my DSDs don't ask for anything either really. Ask them what they'd like and it's usually 'dunno!'

I like trying to find them unusual/quirky/unheard of presents though. But it's easier with the other twin as she's currently into more hobbies, TV shows etc

Oh, I bought it for her there and then Grin. For Xmas I've bought her some gawjus Next pyjamas, a hat, scarf and glove set, two new bras and matching pants, half her stocking which includes some socks with faces on, a nice little bag from TKMax and I don't even know what she wants yet Blush. I just wish she's ask.

Not sure about "Superdry". Mine have never been keen. DS tends to like brands but is more into "Diesel", "Ralph Lauren" tbh. And he might get a reduced T shirt if he's lucky as a general rule although I might cave and buy him a nice RL jersey.

Fuzz - most of the old 18s are equivalent to a 15 now though, tbh. Dp and/or I just watch things first before we decide if she'll be okay with them. Carrie is just lots of blood.

Married - your dd sounds just like my dd2. She hates clothes and hates trying things on.

No idea re Superdry, sorry. Neither of my girls have ever been interested in that sort of stuff. DD1 is a Topshop sort of girl and dd2 isn't interested in any clothes at all.

Oh my gosh just looked at the website...

Maybe I'll wait til a sale and put something away for her birthday if I find it.

Thankfully neither are in the least bothered by wanting designer stuff (in any case they know it's too pricey). Would be a nice treat but couldn't justify at full price. Will just keep the idea in mind IF I see a bargain one day.

She did mention recently that nobody gets her jammies at Xmas anymore - I think a family member did it every year but I guess they've stopped. So I'm trying to find some piglet pjs as a surprise.

My boys like Stussy, Diamond and Primitive. I buy it from MooseLtd in the US and have it shipped over. It's still a lot cheaper than buying it in this country.

They are apparently getting primark vouchers from their nan at Xmas and are both very happy about it :o

You could try e bay fuzz...sometimes people sell unworn stuff with tags still on!
I have had some lovely boden stuff for ds2 from there.
I won't pay boden prices - £20 for a t shirt for a 4 year old? But I do like it (expensive tastes sadly)
I'm afraid I have no idea about designer gear.
My ds1 (currently 10) would happily wear a Flour sack with arm holes cut out :)
Sigh...

And Remus I agree about the old 18s being tamer. We recently bought a load of classics and were boggling that they were 18s (15yo DSDs were staying over and had brought a friend with them - so we didn't want to put an 18 on for them because it wasn't 'our' DD IYSWIM - all we ended up with was Poltergeist)

DS2 is vowing never ever to set foot in Primark again after today. We went in to get DH a Christmas jumper. He is spending Christmas in the Falklands with the Forces, so we thought it would be a laugh to send one. We went to get in the lift but weren't allowed because someone had done a steaming poo in there!Shock

Fuzzpig - my dd's (14 & 11) wear superdry. Last year we got them a couple of things each from the Superdry outlet on ebay which saved a bit of money, the styles don't change much so they didn't realise it was last seasons.

I'd get her the lot apart from the 9 hoodies. I think I would buy 3 or 4 and then might treat her to a few others after christmas if she still really wants them. New Look is cheap so I suppose you could get them but I think getting her to put them in priority order and picking the top few would be best.

Does seem a bit boring though, I'd get her a few DVDs, books and other bits to make it a bit more special.

My DS is the same age and keeps changing his christmas list too, but thats more because he can't decide what games he wants. He is adamant though about not having clothes as a main present.
