I felt the same, but not at 15. 17 maybe.

I was, um, 20 when I got a boyfriend. But at least I married him Wink

I remember feeling like I'd really arrived when someone first asked me out at 15! It only lasted about eight weeks and then I didn't have another proper boyfriend until I was 16 but it was a huge ego boost at the time. I had no confidence around boys at all at that age and was so shy. DD is only 12 but already very confident around boys. I think having a brother only a year older than her and being around his friends a lot helps with that confidence. Can see trouble ahead though! DS already saying how disgusting it is how some of his friends think she is 'fit'!

The eldest had a boyfriend briefly at about 15 (a good friend who she went on a couple of dates with over a few weeks then she had he obligatory evenings cry and chocolate and that was it) . At nearly 20 she's single and loving it. She even hosted a " valentines dinner" at uni for her single mates - not as a " dating" thing but a fun evening.

Me DH was my 1st boyfriend at 18!

Bless her. It's so hard at that age isn't it. Feel free to tell her that I didn't have a until I was 20 and at uni. I married him a few years later Grin and we have a lovely DS who's nearly 2.
There's no rush she will find someone who's right for her at the right time.

yes it seems like having a bf isn't the be all and end all.

from my point of view I think why does no one want to go out with my dd but I know that is silly
