A shit week.
Dd panicked in a gcse ( she has ocd/anxiety).....ran away and ended up in London. We had to get the police.

Tell me about your teenager antics to make me feel better (pours large glass)

DD1 had so much to drink at a party when she was 16 that worried friends of hers decided to call me. She had the car window open on the way home and managed to be sick down the window frame and inside the door so that the car whiffed for ages afterwards. She was in such a state that I slept on her floor that night to keep an eye on her.

Then there was the time that she was in the town park with friends and they paid a tramp to go and buy alcohol for them Shock.

I could go on there are many more (she has grown up to be lovely now but life was very difficult for several years).

Sorry you've had a rubbish week - hope your DD feeling calmer now.

The 'Mum I've been arrested..' wasn't one of my better days !!!! Grin he WAS innocent!

Yep, DS being arrested (wasn't charged guess it was a sort of misunderstanding) was a great night.

Have also dealt with incredibly drunk DD1 in the car, but she decided to fling the door open, luckily was about 4am and an empty road but me swerving to avoid her taking out the row of parked cars was truly excellent.

The time DS/DDs friends pretty much had a mass brawl in our house/garden.

DD1 threatening to kill herself (with a packet of multivitamins) over some hair drama. Was what I'd describe as a hormonal breakdown but of course there was no telling her that at the time.

The time I was designated to be 'the cool mum' and called to a party to come and deal with 2 paralytic teens.

The time my neighbours called me on a night out the other side of London because it sounded like a murder was going on in our house and nobody would answer the door/phone. Cue me rushing home like a loon to find a row between DD1 & DS2 over a phone charger. Had been going strong for 3 hours.

And finally the most recent and most horrifying one was when I spent a morning under the impressions my family had entered a Jeremy Kyle like realm where Ds had impregnated someone anddddd DD1 was pregnant and neither would answer their phone. Turned out to be a mix up and its their cousin who is pregnant. Thank Gawd!!!

"I'm in the back of a police car thanks to you. What kind of a btch has her own son arrested?" was one of my* low points...

Good thread, MrsRD :)

DD ran away, picked up in London by police and brought home. Ran away to the coast and took an overdose. Arrested for assaulting me.
It might seem like everyone else's teens are sailing through adolescence unscathedbut there is plenty of us on this site that feel like we're lurching from one crisis to the next. Hope things improve for you.

Oh and let's not forget my paralytic teens. Having 4 teenagers at once was always going to be a bad idea...

DS1 appearing with DD2 over his shoulder in a fireman's lift having found her unconscious on the park.. she was vomiting down his back (he was 16, she 15). Picking the solidified puke out of her waist length spiral curls was fun... NOT.

DD1 being 'blue light taxi'-d home after a good night in town..she was 17...

DD2 puking in my car after her friend phoned me to fetch her as she was 'a little drunk'. (aged 17) DD2 drinks rarely but always over does it....

DS1 stealing hundreds from me, spending it on weed, smashing holes in the walls....

Believe it or not they are all coming out the other side now as humans.. ! One is a med student, one going off to do nursing shortly and the other a support worker with disabled adults...!! aged 20, 19 and 18 now they are becoming human again!!

DS2 hasn't put me through anything horrid yet but he has learning disabilities and autism... he is usually about 5 years behind so I am assuming he will be awful when he hits 20....!

Urgh.. had this too... she was sick at 50mph. DH made her clean the car the next day Grin

Then she (17 years old) left home in a strop to live with her 30 year old boyfriend who apparently 'treats me like a princess' Hmm
