Teenage residential summer camps abroad

I would love to send my 13-year-old daughter off to a residential camp abroad (Europe, Canada, USA) in the summer, but have no idea where to start.

My daughter has been a bit lost for want of a better word and I feel an adventure like this would help her come out of her shell, not to mention the benefit from mixing with other kids her age outside the local area.

She's very sporty so something along those lines would be fantastic. Also she's starting her KS4 French in September so would love if I could combine the two, although not essential.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

I notice they only run it for younger teens now. Same activities without the Red Wine

Hello! My kids are bilingual but they feel more comfortable in speaking English. They enrolled in French language summer camp and spent unforgettable holidays with international atmosphere in a camp in France. It was CREA-LANGUES and they enjoyed their stay so much there! I know this camp is closed now but they have a successor. the new camp is called FIL - Francais Immersion Loisirs, I know the FIL team is the same than the previous camp and they are very professional. The children attend French original workshops on mornings and enjoy fun activities in the afternoons. The individual guidance is great as well. My kids met a lot of young people coming from all over the world and they made new friends. My daughter is still in touched with some of them and she can practice French language through social networks with her "international" friends.
