My husband managed to drop his wallet at the local shops tonight.Cash, cards, driving licence and his police id.

No sign of it on his return to the shop and we were looking forward to a night of phone calls cancelling cards etc plus the prospect of the lost cash. I went out to retrace his steps again and check at the shop. No sign:(

On my return, I find a happy hubby. A young chap and girl turned up at the door having found the wallet and read the address on his driving licence they brought it back intact.

He had to insist they took a small reward which they were reluctant to accept.

Whoever you are- our heartfelt thanks- you are a credit to your parents!!!

What a great story! :)

I too lost my wallet once, in an airport while waiting for my flight home.
I will be eternally grateful to the person who handed it in intact, including all my spending money for the stop-over that was the last part of my trip.

That's lovely to hear, there are more good teens than bad but good news stories don't sell papers like bad news ones do.

I know- I am so touched- I have a son of 13 myself and I like to think he would do the same. It has really warmed my heart.
