We still put out whisky and a mince pie for Father Christmas and a carrot for Ruldolf.
Then stockings go each side of the tree.
Father Christmas brings them each choc coins, tube of smarties, tube of jelly babies, choc reindeer, apple, satsuma, walnuts.
Then they each get socks, pants, shower gels and deodarants (really posh ones they don't usually get). Cricket balls or golf balls for DS or hair bits for DD.
There is usually a book each or good pens or last year DS got a Rubiks Cube and DD got some nail art bits.
Father Christmas gets bits throughout the year when he thinks they'd be a good stocking present.
I don't think we'll ever stop doing it. DS (15) was horrified last year when I asked if he still wanted to do it.
He did say "no thanks" to an advent calendar for the first time, though.
