Bribe them to stay in room with pizza delivery and DVD rental or if older, send them out to cinema or sleepovers at mates?

Sleepover is your best bet if you really want to relax.
Lock the front door too, so if they do decide to come back early despite threats, you have the chance to grab a bit of covering.

Although she'll never do that again. Grin

Get a lock for your own bedroom door, and retreat. Those who think their sex lives are crap when DC are little, have no idea how difficult -nay, impossible - it can be to be spontaneous with teenagers around.

And make sure you tell them that their parents want some "alone" time, want to be left in peace, and chuck in a few suggestive faces/girlish giggles; they'll be so horrified they'll leave you alone. Grin Have fun!
