Suitable names for 12yr DS girlfriend ????

Call me a snob/control freak/whatever I will prob agree!! My 12yr DS has suddenly developed an interest and its called girls. One min he was playing action men the next its all texting/facebook and 'does my hair look good'
My dilemma is that I keep fretting and hacking into his FB account/mobile (I pay the bill why not) Once I have decoded the 'speak' (although I struggle on MN sometimes) you know what my worry is? If he goes out with girls called 'Shannon or Chelsea' are they going to lead him down the wrong path. I imagine Emily or kate would be more suitable !!!!
Anyone else as daft as me??

My daughters first boyfriend was called Leif. When I said do you want a cup of tea leaf she thought I was taking the piss.
