I don't know whether to part with my money or not :) the website says all the right things about being a "trusted' website etc but there's things that set off alarm bells like their email being [email protected] and the telephone number is just a mobile. Hoping someone more techy can see "behind the scenes" somehow. The site is

No I wouldn't!

tribpot · 06/05/2024 14:36

I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. Notice how in the Shipping Policy the contact information is empty. Right down in the footer under 'Join us' it's still got the generic text that was presumably there in the website template they used.

In the source code of the page the following email address is mentioned [email protected] - that definitely leads to some warnings like this: https://malwaretips.com/blogs/servicewholeshopx-com/

i definitely wouldn’t use it. It sets off a lot of alarm bells and I used to work in IT security. You may as well set fire to your money.

100% a scam site. There are so many of these around, they scrape real online retailers stealing their images and product descriptions, then heavily marking down the price to try get people to buy and enter their payment information to defraud you.

Notice how they are pushing way too hard in your face about "XX from the UK recently bought this item", "XX people bought this product today", "XX people have this item in their cart", "safe checkout", "trusted store" plastered all over the page. It's all fake.

Even the picture on their About Us page has been stolen. And have you seen their random gmail email address as the contact on their Contact Us page?

Everything costing £62.17 is as dodgy as fuck, particularly for items that usually sell for hundreds of pounds. It reminds me of those scamming Facebook Marketplace ads for garden furniture for £60. If something looks like it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Dbank · 07/05/2024 08:18

No way.

RachelGreensHair · 07/05/2024 08:29

Hi all, thank you all so much. Seems like my gut instinct was right! Interesting someone mentioned Facebook marketplace. I actually saw the item on there and thought it was cheaper cos it was second hand and in someone's house, and instead they told me to order off this site. I've sold stuff on marketplace but never bought anything, will avoid. Thank you.
