Spam email in outlook

Hi,

I've always had spam appear in my junk mail. No problem, I just ignore it.

However, recently, my outlook account is been hit by loads of spam. I've just been offered a penis enlargement. How can the spam stop/ go away?

I wondered what on earth was going on as I must’ve moved between 30–50 emails to junk today.

oh dear. I was going to get a new email and was seriously considering getting outlook instead of Gmail.

I too will have a large penis, a SMEG kettle, but no Malwarebytes, as that is being CANCELLED with immediate effect.

Must have reported 30 emails as junk today... probably more!

Most of the spam shouldnt even get into junk, let alone our inbox.

Same! Assumed my address has been sold on/nicked from somewhere as I'm not massively discerning about who I give it to. Interesting that it's a wider problem.

Yes started to do this today. Seems to have filtered off a bit this evening but dread to think what my inbox will look like tomorrow if this continues.

Ahhhhh me too, I've spent hours today trying to reset my junk filter thinking it was just me!

Same here! I wondered what was going on or if I'd inadvertently clicked on a link! Seem to be on the receiving end of lots of prize draws for smeg kettles, airfryers and French Tesco vouchers 😵‍💫

I've had this to my hotmail account all day at a rate of around 1 every minute or so. It seems to have stopped about half an hour ago.

Oh glad it's a glitch. It was happening all day at work but fewer/none this eve. I was cursing a job website I signed up with last night but on further inspection it is to a different email address.

This is happening to my hotmail too, quite glad to hear it's an issue as I assumed my email had been sold to a dodgy spammer!

It's been happening for a week or so but noticeably the past few fats. I'm just blocking them
But doubt it makes a difference

I've had a steady trickle of spam for goodness knows how long, but I assume it must originate from the same sender, as they supposedly come from lots of different companies, but they always tell me that I've won (or could win) 'an' something that doesn't start with a vowel: 'an Curry's kettle'; 'an Smeg fridge', 'an Phillips air fryer' etc.

As well as lots of threatening warnings purporting to come from McAfee - about my antivirus protection 'subscription expiry' - whom I've not used for at least 20 years.

Lol this is happening to me too, thought I was the only one - this thread has given me and my partner a good chuckle tho!

It has started happening again today!
