Does anybody know what I can do about this, it is a Samsung, a few years old, not charged or been near moisture, but whenever I try to charge it, it alarms. Have tried ignoring the alarm, but it won't charge , as from this morning. Have, of course, turned it off and on again, several times.
It will run out of charge soon and I don't know what to do, it is presently on a lukewarm radiator.

I has this. Samsung quoted me about £100 to fix it Hmm
I turned it off for a few days and when I turned it on again it was fine.
I think I had left it in the bathroom when I showered and that's how it got damp

Turn it off and leave it alone for a few days. The more you use it the more likely you are to break it.

Mine does this with one particular charger. Only when it's finished charging though. I think it may be a glitch. If you can remove the back/battery etc do this and leave it open for a few days. Somewhere it won't get damp or warm (condensation). If that doesn't work it may be that the battery has given up. Obviously try a different charger wire as well!

When I had this problem (with two different Samsung phones) I found that a wireless charger charged the phones perfectly

I leave my phone somewhere warm and dry for a couple of hours and it fixes it. Also if it's being stubborn I'll stick a cotten bud in the charger port to help get any moisture
