Hello,
I really do not want to cause upset and entirely understand it may trigger a conflicting response, but I stupidly embarked on laser removal on a whim (without any prior research) due to having a huge cross tattoo (based on trauma) down the length of my chest. It wasn’t a great job and wasn’t done symmetrically (this too was spur of the moment). That said, it wasn’t hugely problematic and so, I feel guilt-ridden that I’ve embarked on this laser removal journey at a medspa yesterday- subsequently reading 2024 (relatively recent) clinical research that suggests a huge link to lymphoma. Going down a rabbit hole, Reddit posts outline a high number of first-hand accounts of people who have had laser removal and ended up with lymphoma, backing the clinical evidence that needs further exploration.
I guess my question is (as this is a laser removal specialist group) how many first-hand accounts suggest an affiliation with the procedure and a link to cancer?
Again, I’m sorry if this is a triggering post. It isn’t intended in that way. I have very small children and I have undergone a huge degree of trauma with the other parent since their birth so I am worried about my health and guilt-ridden for being so reckless.
