DD wanting a tattoo

DD wants to get a tattoo but shes only 15, I told her she cant and know she is angry at me, Should i let her get one? Please answer honestly DD is getting quite angry know let me know!

Hi OP, she can’t legally get a tattoo until she is 18, there’s no such thing as parental consent for tattoos when under the age of 18.
She is simply going to have to wait and that’s the end of the conversation.
I really hope she isn’t thinking of getting an at home tattoo by a friend or random person as that runs a very high risk of infection and major scarring.

In a most countries it is legal. But not in the uk

She’s 15 therefore the answer is no. Why are you bothered she’s cross with you? When she’s 18 and it’s legal it’s her decision. Currently she’s a child and it’s illegal so there’s no discussion to be had

Have a look on Inkbox and get her a load of temporary ones. I had my first tattoo at 50 and still love it five years on. Thinking back to what I would have had when I was 15 I’d have spent a fortune having them removed.

Even if you are in another country that does allow under 18 tattoos with parental consent - don't allow it. It's madness to allow a 15yo to permanently alter their body. No way in hell she'd make a choice she'd be happy with even in 5years, let alone the rest of her life.

I have 3 tattoos. If I'd had one at that age it would have been something utterly awful and I'm so so glad I waited til I was well into my 20s before my first.
