Just as the title says really. I’ve just turned 34 and just had tattoo 15 with #16 booked in for next week.

To look at me you can see one when I’m wearing trousers and a tshirt. I have my back, side, sternum and tummy tattoo’d. The rest are on my legs.

Suddenly just found the love of tattoos and have had most of them within the past year. 4 within the last 6 weeks 🙈

32 and I have 5

Lweji · 09/12/2017 15:36

None.

I don't even like to wear the same style of clothes every day, nor make up. I'm sure I'd get fed up with it.
Is that why people end up getting new ones? Because the old ones get tired quickly?

whosebootsaretheseshoes · 09/12/2017 15:37

None. I'm an indecisive commitment-phobe, so not likely to ever happen. Like them on other people though.

Eolian · 09/12/2017 15:38

None. I don't like them. I mean, some of the artier designs people have are nice, I'd just rather have them on a wall and would never consider having them on my skin.

40 next month. I have 5.

First one was at Niagara Falls whilst doing Camp America when I was 20. I met an amazing group of friends from all over the world and we all got a Chinese symbol meaning good luck, all got a different colour.
Mine is blue, more like turquoise. If I bend
My arm to a certain angle, it looks like it says "HO" Grin

The 4 others I have are 3 names and a
Latin quote referring to my football team.
Completely outing to anyone who knows me but who cares?!

Another funny story with tattoo number 2.
I've got ds's name at the bottom of my back in really flowy script.

I showed my brother and he said " who the fuck is Clive?! "
I wet myself laughing. Ds is called Oliver.

Hate to admit it but it does look like Clive...

Planning another one for my mid life crisis due next month with the big 4-0, just haven't decided what to get.

AdalindSchade · 09/12/2017 15:45

One - got when I was 36. I'll be going back next year for more. Think maybe you should slow down a little bit though Grin

boredofmyoldname · 09/12/2017 15:45
  1. Got my first when I was 29 and second for my 30th.

Nothing to do with being tired of the first, I felt unbalanced because I had one down my forearm so had to get the other done.

Neither of them are arty, one is a random image I liked online and the other is pop art style faces of my favourite band.

I'm indecisive and impulsive, disaster zone me 😂

NavyGold · 09/12/2017 15:48

2 and I want at least 1 more! I'm 32.

poppym12 · 09/12/2017 15:55

One. Had it for years. I designed it so it's exactly what I wanted, for what I wanted. I'd have more if I felt the urge I had for this one.

fantasmasgoria1 · 10/12/2017 01:17

Sleeve on one arm five on the other, chest back and one on leg.

TooManyPaws · 26/12/2017 01:30

Nine. None show when fully dressed though the ones on my foot and ankle do when wearing a skirt and bare legs.

BattleCunt · 26/12/2017 02:18

Fourteen. Neck, back, both arms, hand/fingers, thigh, and calf areas. Mostly nerdy ones related to Star Trek, Star Wars, and Skyrim.

BattleCunt · 26/12/2017 02:20

Forgot to add, I was thirty-three when I got my first one, and I'm now almost forty-one. I'm going to keep going and be extensively tattooed.

Mum isn't impressed. She says when I get old and saggy, I'll look like an old Axminster carpet. I almost broke my vital organs laughing.

annandale · 26/12/2017 02:39

48, none. A friend has a gorgeous semiabstract watercolour tattoo on her foot and I sometimes think about it.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 26/12/2017 03:57

None. Most of my friends have them and I'm the only female (inc my Mother) who doesn't have one.

I just couldn't choose something that I would be sure I'd want for the rest of my life. I dislike how my sister always has to show hers (that covers most of the top of her leg) off to anyone who shows an interest. And I've seen the sludgy mess that a tatt on a friend has turned into over the years.

I admire people who can choose something meaningful to have and who love them. It's just not for me.
