You can. If you're not concerned about the origins and welfare of the woman you are proposing to use as a womb for rent.

Some people might call it people trafficking.

"Notably, international surrogacy has become synonymous with the trafficking of vulnerable women, a reality highlighted by the recent Greek surrogacy scandal. This involved 169 trafficked surrogate mothers to Crete who were exploited by “brokers” operating across Greece, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania and Georgia."

"It’s clear that the landscape of surrogacy in occupied northern Cyprus presents a complex and concerning reality. While medical tourism offers accessibility to surrogacy services, concerns regarding regulation and exploitation persist."

Yes you can. You have to contact the UK clinic on their transportation team on shipping the embryo aboard. The medical advice I got was, it is much safer to ship embryo than egg + sperm separately. Alternatively, you can ship the sperm there and work with an agency based in the UK to do the blood work and prescribe drugs for egg extraction, perform the egg extraction in Cyprus when time comes. It is best to consult a doctor in the success rate of each option.

This. Surrogacy is ethically and morally wrong.

So can you = is it feasible?
Should you? Absolutely not.

Perhaps not but it’s important to raise awareness. Often people don’t know about the issues because.they have never thought them through. MN does not have a rule that you can only answer the specific question asked. Surrogacy frequently involves the exploitation of vulnerable women.

Good example of how dehumanising it is. Talking about transportation of humans as 'shipping' them...

Sorry, do you think embryos sit on planes with their seatbelts on? They’re being shipped. That’s what shipping is.

Of course not, why would you think that? Rather than I have the opinion that packaging up an embryo to fly it to a different country to take advantage of vulnerable woman to undertake a practice thats illegal in many countries is unethical?

My mistake, I thought that because you responded directly to a comment talking specifically and solely about the movement of eggs, sperm and embryos with a remark on “transportation of humans”, you thought that process involved the transportation of humans. I didn’t catch all that subtext behind taking offence at the word shipping being used to refer to shipping.
