Hi all! My first time posting and only just actually set up my page! We're looking for some advice along the subject of surrogacy..
We already have children that yes, we are very proud of, and are very grateful for being blessed with.
The thing is though, we are desperate to extend our family with one more bubba!
We have tried for almost 2 years with no luck with conceiving naturally! It's almost as if our chances have stopped.. so we've been looking into the likes of another woman carrying a baby for us, more than likely with her own egg and my husband's sperm.
Some advice, help, guidance from anyone would be greatly appreciated and id also appreciate it if we didn't receive any negative feedback! (This took a lot of courage lol) thanks in advance x Grin

You couldn't be bothered to start your own thread.
You asked a question, received well considered, researched replies with links.
You didn't like the replies.

As you said, 20 seconds on google.

Here you are.

The best surrogate mothers with no harmful habits. Healthy baby guaranteed.

Is that what you wanted? Why didn't you spend your own 20 seconds on google? Off you go, spend your money, I hope those guarantees are worth the paper they're written on.

Unless you actually doing something to help at those people in the world who need it and are fully self-sustaining and not damaging environment in any way, you may consider showing a little humility.

OhHolyJesus · 30/06/2020 14:28

FYI I work for a charity doing exactly that. Most of my career has been in non-profit orgs and I volunteer too. I don't feel the need to explain that in every post I write to provide my 'worthiness' but since you asked...

My 'humility' is reserved for those who need protection and need safeguarding from others who seek to exploit them.

Fenti · 30/06/2020 15:28

So la vita nova don't exploit and ensure the surrogate's health during and after pregnancy?

OhHolyJesus · 30/06/2020 16:06

No, based on information shared here, on other threads on surrogacy and all I've seen and learnt about the laws in the Ukraine, the processes and the state of healthcare, as well as the risk involved in surrogate pregnancies in particular, and the surrogate mothers own stories I've seen in videos I imagine that all clinics are much of a muchness in Ukraine. They aren't going to tell you that because they want your money.

On this clinics website one of the advantages they state is how you don't have to pay all the money upfront, "cost package is quite reasonable" and that "protection against any fraudulent action is guaranteed...since we exercise control over all financial transactions" so immediately, if I was considering this, I would be concerned that the surrogate mother is being underpaid.

There are a number of documentaries on YouTube available, here's one on surrogacy in the Ukraine you should probably watch, as no clinic is going to tell you about the mistakes, brain damage and exploitation that takes place. This isn't about the clinic you mention but they are pretty similar due to the laws there and that there is money to be made (notice how many of these clinic are run by men) how will you know otherwise? Anyone who has used a clinic in Ukraine isn't going to tell you anything negative as they have their baby, like you, that's all they want. Notice how old it is and that terms like foetal reduction - injecting the heart of a live foetus - isn't fully explained as listen to the stories of the surrogate mothers.

And this

OhHolyJesus · 30/06/2020 16:35

And this from over 10 years ago and the issues of obtaining parenting orders remains, from about 30 mins in Ukraine is mentioned where it mentions that surrogate babies end up being cared for in orphanages as they cannot achieve citizen status in the UK.

Natalie Gamble benefits twice over from surrogacy arrangements through her fee as a family lawyer as well as through her surrogacy agency so I can't imagine why she would be pro-surrogacy.
