My daughters house rabbit is so lovely and adorable. He uses his litter tray most of the time. But at least 1- 3 times a day he will wee in a corner of the utility room (where he sleeps) He has free roam until nighttime and he doesn’t do it in any other room. I tried placing an extra litter tray in the corner and he actually pushed the litter tray away and did a wee behind it!!!

He does use the litter tray for wees at some point so I don’t get why he’s doing it? I’ve scrubbed the floor and blocked off the corners but then he just did a wee against the barrier!! He’s really lovely to have inside apart from this so I’m trying to find a solution. Any ideas why he’s doing it?

Sometimes they just pick a corner... I'd try wedging the litter tray so he cant move it. Also clean with a proper pet wee remover. (Cant remember whats good for rabbits, ill leave you to google.)

Is he neutered?

And why is he single? Rabbits really should v e kept in pairs, it's very uncommon for a rabbit to prefer to be solo.

Thank you, yes he was neutered over a year ago.

He is solo, I keep debating trying to find him a bunny friend but he’s always been very territorial so i’m worried they won’t get along.

I don’t know rabbits but when we had guineapigs I used a steamer to clean and if any stubborn marks white vinegar.
Steam doesn’t leave anything harmful and there’s nothing to make them want to mark. Vinegar cleans pee stains really well..

Please do. If you adopt from a rescue, they will help bonding. Seeing two together is a joy. It may even help!
