Fighting boars

SadSo not been on here for a while. We're in the cycle of replacing guinea pigs when one dies and currently have gp5.
Recently he lost his pal who was older. We got him a baby boar from the breeder ( v reputable) we had him from. They adored each other - for a few weeks.
Now gp6 is 4 months old and trying to become the dominant one. I've never seen boars fight like these two. They do teeth chattering, bum wiggling etc and on a couple of occasions have launched themselves at each other. GP6 now has a cut ear which luckily isn't too bad. Gp5 has a deepish scratch on his rump. They sirens their time at the opposite ends of the cage. We've taken out shelters so they can't fight over then even though there were always 2 in there. That has marginally helped.
The silly thing is that when we take one out of the cage for any reason, the other goes mad squeaking away really loudly, as though pining for him? When gp6 hurt his ear we split them up and they spent all their time trying to get back together.
Any suggestions what we can do? I don't really want to split then up as I don't think we'll then get them back together.

Sad 4 months old is peak Kevin the Teenager time . Our GP3 started dominence mounting GP1 (adult) when he was about 4-6 months , (and he was a massive Rex, poor GP1 !)

We bathed them when they got arsey . Both in the bath together (opposite ends) , bathing bonds them because they smell neutral and also puts them in a bad mood with YOU for doing this foul thing so they seek comfort in guinea-pig company .
Everything in the cage cleaned , neutral. Move things about .

I found mine got stroppy (at any age) in the Spring . The sows were demons in season. (evil temper , evil pee . Thankfully only 48 hours of it)

We got GP1 and GP2 as a bonded pair . GP1 didn't mind being taken away from his brother (because I know he's where I left him) but panic mode set in if we took GP2 from him.

We had to divide their indoor night cage the first winter but they were fine by day in their Pighouse where they had their own spaces .
Two bowls , two bottles, big flat food plate .

The 2nd winter , I gave them two boxes of hay in the cage overnight and they were fine with this . (The piggies have the room next to mine , no door . So my ears were on elastic listening to them !)

I had to get my males neutered. It doesn't always stop the fighting but it worked for my 2 boys
