Ooh exciting! Looks like Gothmummy in the dwarf bunny thread has one. Ours live outside but come in for the occasional explore.

I’ve got one inside and one outside at the moment (long story) I would prefer to have both inside but DHs is having none of it

Guilty, I have three. Mostly contained in the kitchen, but with furniture munching forays into the livingroom. You can never have enough toys and chews. get used to charging things as far away from bunny as you can physically manage. Then get bunny a friend and neutered. Brilliant help and advice on the RWAF website. There are also good groups on Facebook but they can be a bit preachy.

I did mean to say congratulations, life id better with bunnies.

It isn't easy. I love bunnies and grew up with them... but I decided I wouldn't get one again until i have a garden it can have access too - as I feel they really need a good run about every day or a few hours in an outside run to use up some of their energy. Otherwise they can he extra destructive.

But if you aren't worried about your carpets/ have linoleum and have rabbit proofed a lot and someone will about the majority of the time to keep it company, hopefully it'll be fine.

Every rabbit is different too. Some are more chill than others. Litter training isn't usually too hard either (at least the peeing part).

Brilliant pets but not easy. I would say much harder work than a cat when kept inside.

Good luck! Hopefully everything will go smoothly.

How do you house-train rabbits?

Pinkbonbon · 12/10/2019 23:14

They usually pick a corner they want to pee in and you just put the litter tray there. They don't smell anywhere near as bad as cats either so that's something :)

My house rabbit is the cutest little thing ever

We are in the process of getting another one so they can keep each other company

Shoes and wires get chewed here (and school homework). Turn the cuddles make up for it
