I was looking into one
I’ve not got any DCs so it won’t be pulled around and it’s a quiet house with no other pets. I’ve got a huge garden but we’ve a massive issue with urban foxes so wary of getting them to keep outside.

Any help?!

I really recommend joining the Fb group 'house rabbits uk'
Lots of helpful posts and info in the Files section at the top.
How exciting, good luck!

My elderly pair were great indoors, mainly as they were quite doddery and wanted to sleep most of the time!

The younger pair I have now were a bit too wild for indoors, my skirting boards have the scars to prove it ;) after being woken up repeatedly at 3-5am (they were free range in their own bedroom), they're now outdoors.

I also live in a VERY foxy area and have a camera up watching their home, have seen foxes go sniffing around but fortunately they'd need bolt cutters to get into my bunny fortress! See pic.

Hi ,

I have a house bun we had two outside but sadly the make even though had all vaccines passed from mixi.

Having a house bun is fab as long as you rabbit proof all the rooms you allow bun to go ... and hay will get everywhere 😂.

We have a large area where we can safely leave her for house work reasons etc . And she sits in the evenings with us and grooms us (licks) and quite likes tv ..

However that all being said they are very sensitive animals and you need to know about the Rdh1/2 vaccines and mixi . What to look out for with stress, gut statis, bloat, and a good diet ...

Bonding with you may take time as they are a prey animal so naturally weary and not keen on being picked up .

There will be lots of lovely buns in rescues awaiting a good home like yours x

Any questions please ask there is so much info out there now and they are fabulous animals
